Bigger than stock something that will be able to tow about 10000 pounds and push a little over 550 hp.

Ya I thought that a stocker could do it but it would run hot and not be reliable so I defiantly want to up grade.

Yeah especially if you tow on a 550hp tune, the egt's would be through the roof. Towing on that big of a tune I would look into a turbo and meth injection

why not look into a compound setup? i know they are pricey but it will give you a better torque band and be way easier to get moving than a big single

There is no "best turbo" for an LB7. You have to go compare whats available (a LOT of options), talk to vendors about their experiences, and figure out what will work best for your application.

IMO, towing heavy on a 550rwhp tune will run high EGTs and bend your rods very quickly. These engines DO have limits....

Highly unlikly the stocker will go over 550. If it does it will be VERY short lived.
I would consider the BD supermax turbo or a nice compound twin set-up. Also do some research on borg warner and garrett. Both make great turbos.

And i wouldnt suggest towing with a 550 rwhp tune, get a custom tow tune.
