Smoke Switch on a LB7

Can anyone help me out im looking to see if there is a way to put a smoke switch on my 01 LB7 without changeing tunes or with the use of a tuner just looking for a simple switch that won't damage anythign

why would you want to? just a waste of fuel.. block off the air intake, that'll get you smoke

The easiest thing to do would be to add a tuner, or block off the intake, but like Aaron said, all that black smoke is just $1 bills flying out the exhaust.

not worried about the money going out the pipes its not something iwill use often its just something i wanted

iam looking for a good tuner but im looking for one that will monitor my egt's any suggestions i dont just want to go brab one with out finding out other peoples suggestions

Please don't be "that guy." Smoke switches don't work on LB7s anyway. This has been talked about for a while.

A programmer or tuner that fuels a lot will help. Most say PPE.

A smoke switch works on LLY+ by maxing out the MAP sensor. On VGT trucks you kind of fool it into thinking boost is high so fuel increases. Since the LB7 is not VGT, it will boost right up and clean the smoke from doing that.

yea ive heard the smoke switch isnt healthy for the motor. if u want smoke get efi live and add a smoke tune. but thats wht id do

2004 chevy 2500 duramax lly. no cat or anything resignator capped pcv rerouted, ats stage 3 internals with transgo shift kit, isspro ev2 gauges, custom 4 inch straight pipe with 6 inch tip, afe intake, efi live tunning, fass 150, moded cp3, injectors opened 45%, 64mm cheetah turbo soon to be replaced with twins

yea i thought the duramax was like the clean burning powerfull motors. a lil smoke isnt bad but total black out should be left for the cummins
