And the fun begins...

Well after two months stuff was bound to go wrong...

1st...

The push button 4wd...the light goes into 4wd, truck feels like its in, but the wheels wont spin...

2nd...

I cant turn OD off...push the button and the Tow/Haul light wont come up and it still shifts to 5th gear...

anything would be appreciated

Nate

Do you still have the hypertech installed? I read somewhere that if you change the trans tuning with the hypertech, it disables the button on the shifter.

As for your 4WD problem, can you hear the transfer case shift, or does the light just change?

Hold down tow haul for 3-5 seconds to turn off OD, if memory serves.

The 4WD sounds like you have a common problem. The encoder or solenoid could be out. First, check the differential and make sure you didn't lose a connection.

Nope I never installed the Hypertech, You can hear the tcase go in, and it steers and feels like its in just no wheel movement.

I've held down tow haul for 3-5 and nothing, I hope the 4wd is just a sensor...

gonna take it to the chevy dealer so they can change my oil and have them check if they can know what it is

Nate, the engagment Solenoid is on the front, near the top of the front diff, it is a PITA to get at, but if you pull the skid plates off you should be able to get under neath and get a good look at it

did you figure out the overdrive button failure yet? I am having the same problem where neither functions work tow/haul or od override. I am guessing bad wire somewhere, anyone ever change one of these wire harness/switches out before?
