Anyone seen this happen??????????????

Cam sensor is being eaten by the cam reluctor, and the crank reluctor is loose. How does the crank reluctor come off? Is the gear pressed on, and the reluctor bolted on behind the gear or what? Thanks

Sounds like you have some more problems going on in there, but yes, the crank reluctor wheel is bolted on to the back side of the gear that drives the oil pump IIRC.

When you put them back in make sure you use lock tight on the bolts.

On edit: I have seen it in one motor. It was after it was rebuilt. Lesson learned is anytime you rebuild a motor take the 3 bolts out of the reluctor wheel and put fresh lock tite on them and retorque them down.
