speed limiter

Does anyone know how to eliminate the speed limiter on 03 dirtymax. have juice w/ attitude and nothing.

Most hand held programmers will let you change the top speed. Are you talking about the factory preset 96MPH or dealer installed 70MPH?

find an old superchips for the 01 to 03 d max and you can just loadwhatever you need out of it.that will also let you recalc for larger tires also and WHEN you get a big trans if you dont already you can stack the super chips with the edge if you want

thank you noone i have talked to had a clue. we thought the edge would do the trick.... i was refering to factory 96 mph

you can pick up 1 of those super chips max micro tuners for around 60 to 100 and it will add 90 horse to your computer but you have to back the edge off your trans if its stock wont handle all that power.you will notice the computor load reacts faster

I dont recommend stacking tuners and programmers on these engines,you will get too much injection timing and can crack injectors or cook pistons.... they can create some intense heat as well, its just not a great idea.... either run one or the other, not both, or sell the edge and pick up a PPE xcellerator, it will do a lot more for you than stacking

im running the ppe hot+2 eliminator on setting 8 and the edge hot juice on 2 with not problems but i am going to take some of the timing out
