HELP? clutch problems

I have the banks six gun and exhuast today my clutch pedal locked up and wouldn't let me take it out of gear. it felt like the opposite of when your slave cylinder goes out the clutch pedal felt like there was a rock behind it I switched my banks back down to stock level and pumped hard a couple of times and it felt normal again. Anyone heard of this before? Banks is no help waited on the phone for ever.

the stock clutch in a duramax is junk. i have been through two of them and a flywheel. the whole problem is the flywheel. im am personally gettn ready to buy a southbend clutch and fly wheel. u can only add about 60 horsepower to the stock setup without having any problems. the south bend is good to 500 hp and 1000 ft/lbs.

Beleive it or not that is from the clutch slipping. Just getting a clutch will not solve youer problem. A good aftermarket clutch and single mass flywheel will sove your problems. I have a south bend dual disc in mine and love it. www.southbendclutch.com

Unfortunately, GJ is right....the stock flywheel/clutch is inadequate and can't hold much beyond stock power levels.

It has happened to alot of us, for the dual disk you are looking at around 2k. Once you get a DD and a new flywheel you are set! good luck.

I went with the single disk for drivability reasons and love it. Unless you're going to sled pull or do serious competition I'd recomend the single.

some diesel stuff
