noob ally spin on ?

I want to change the spin on on my ally.

When changing it, is there massive fluid loss? Or can I simply remove old and install new without a mess?

Do you guys fill the filter with fluid? Can I do it without filling said filter?

Thanks.

I need to change mine as well. I stopped at the local dealer and he says they don't sell quarts of the original fluid. Only 55 gallon drums!!

Life changes, so roll with it, not against it.

+1 When I change mine, not much comes out but it gets everywhere! Best advice, a WIDE oil catch can. I do not pre-fill the filter.

Thanks guys. Is it necessary to fill the new filter before you spin the new one on?

Do you reset anything like you do when you change oil or fuel filter?

I don't fill it, not sure if you should though. There is nothing to reset.
