Swap out Allison 5spd to 6 spd manual?

My brother has an 04 LLY w/ the Allison auto. He is wanting a 6spd manual transmission. How difficult would it be to change it out and what all is needed to be changed, if at all possible to do? Have any of you guys done this before? I personally think he should keep what he has, but he wants to do the shifting.

Never.

You know I've already won 2 bets with local d-max owners swearing GM never put a stick behind a D-max. I just send here and to look at your posts.

I normally don't bet or gamble but when I argue with you manual/auto all the time on here. Then I get someone that says a stick shift was never behind the d-max, I let loose.

I still think you're nuts. Just my $.02.
