front drive shaft

hey early 1999 4x4 2500hd the slip joint on front shaft is seized what is the best way to break it loose thanks

2003 silverado 2500hd. 4x4 crewcab lb7 6.6 duramax

Press or a winch and a big pry to get it loose from the yoke. Use a bar through the yoke to put the pressure on it. I have chained one to a utility pole and towed it apart.
