vibration from rear 40-50 not tires

my 05 2500HD crew s/b duramax has had a pretty bad vibration/shimmy from the rear since I owned it for 3 years now, tried 3 sets of different tires, rotations, balances etc..no change...worse by far when no load, tried lowering shackes, no diff, back to shock, have on board compressor and air bags, tried diff pressures..no diff....just kinda lived with it. Used to use for towing a large car trailer 95% of the time and was not bad, now not towing anymore so driving unloaded and is real aggrivating. just rotated the tires again and still no change...stays right from the rear...real bad 40-50...feels like a tires that unreal out of round....does not get better after driving as a flat spotted tire...any idea's ?? thanks Rob

Because if you think that a wadded up piece of paper is actually getting the chit off of your butt.....then I have to ask a question....

.....if you wiped a turd on your arm....would you just use a paper towel to get the turd off?.....or would you wash your arm?...

...let that thought roll around in your head for a moment...

" thank you tank for that insightful thought

Maybe get the rear tires off the ground, put it in gear and hit the accelerator. Just make sure it's not pointing at the living room. Just an idea, lemme know how adventurous you are.
