Anyone running Schaeffer 167 with a G80 differential?

I have a 2012 2500HD with a G80 in a 10.5AAM, want to dump the OE fill early to flush the break in junk out and have fresh fluid for towing. I have three gallons of 75w140 Schaeffer 167 on hand, and would obviously like to use it up.

So has anyone ran their 167 (Moly Full Synthetic Gear Lube, SAE 75W-140) with a G80? My concern is chatter, as it didn't play well with the TracRite LSD in my Dodge 11.5AAM and chattered until I added LSD modifier. GM specifically says NO LSD ADDITIVE.

Thoughts?

well, The axle is a 11.5AMM 14bolt not the 10.5AMM 14bolt. The G80 is different then the TracRite that dodge uses. the fluid should be fine, but as recommended don't use the LSD.

Umm, no; its a 10.5...its a 6.0L truck.

Its a 10.5. No question about it...its the typical old school AAM GM has used since the 70s. Unless there are two versions of the 11.5...

The pictures I posted are of the axle in my truck. I've looked this thing over, it looks just like a modern version of the old Corp 14-bolt, not to mention an 11.5 ring wouldn't even fit into the case. I've also asked this over at Pirate and several members verified this is in fact a 10.5.

I would still like to hear from someone who actually ran Schaeffers...
