Piece of Crap Rims. Someone Help!

Hey everyone.

You guys have to hear this. I purchased a set of **** Cepek DC-1 polished aluminum rims back in January of this year. Well I didn't have the rims for even two months when 2 of them I found pin holes on the inside of the rims. I returned them to Summitt Racing and they exchanged the rims; only to have another one leak due to a defect!

Well, after that, I paid to have the rims upgraded to the polished crome rims because they supposedly had a quality control issue. The story gets even better! Now two of the chrome rims are leaking!

I have contacted Summit Racing, they are sending me a replacement rim for the one that is leaking now.

I have had to go to my shop 6 different times to get the rims balanced and tires taken off and replaced etc.

Anyone know someone at Mickey Thompson. I just want a set of rims that don't leak and won't leave me and my family stranded!!!

Any input would be appreciated. My only advice to everyone here is stay away from the DC-1 rims from **** Cepek. I hope they see this post and have the balls do make things right!!

Must be made in China or Mexico. I would get my money back and go with different manufacturer,

Good news guys.

Summitt Racing finally offered to refund me my $ for the rims after all of the hassle I've had. Now my question for all of you is what brand of rims, make model etc do ya run?

eagle alloy 8 hole with the simulated bolts around the bead is what my sisters boyfriend had on his 2500HD for awhile, VERY nice rim, no peeling or any of those sort of problems, got them on ebay for 550 bucks 16x10, dont go 10 wide tho, they rubbed bad and it only had 305s, go 8 or 9 wide.

04 Silverado 2500HD LB7/Allison, EFI live by duramaxtuner.com with DSP5, 4" MBRP turbo back straight pipe, polished 5" tip, 5% tint, riding on 285 fierce attitudes, many more mods....
