Door Lock Wiring Diagram

Anyone know what color wires work the electric door locks in a 2007 classic? I am going to do this mod from LargeCar (toolbox lock). I have the universal door lock solenoid on it's way from EBAY, just figured someone might already know where the wires are instead of poking around with a test light

These are the diagrams for a 2003. The 2007 is probably similar, and could very well be the same. Just off the top of my head, I'd say you'll have the best luck hooking in at the BCM under the steering wheel, or maybe at the fuse panel on the drivers side IP.

Just be careful. This may be a bit more difficult than it looks.

Something you may not know about 03-up GM wiring is that everything runs on Class2 data. Its not just simply a 12v+ and ground from the switch to the lock cylinder anymore. The door modules actually send a signal to the BCM and then the BCM tells the lock cyl to unlock/lock.

Yeah, its odd, but thats the way GM did things. I'd look at the wiring at the lock cylinders to see if its possible to tie in there, if you cant find an adequate place anywhere else.
