Overload Spring vs Air Bags

I just installed a B&W gooseneck hitch in my truck last night and I dont have helper springs. So my qusetion is should I look for some helper spring or get a set or airbags. I can get a set of airbags for around $200. I havnt looked in helper springs but I dont imagine them being much cheaper.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'd just get the airbags unless you tow real heavy like I do. I have airbags and they help some but towing 30,000lbs I need more so I'm adding dually springs with overloads and frame pads.

Helper springs are cheaper but I'd pay extra for airbags any day. With the air bags you can deflate them when you don't need them and keep the stock ride/flex. With the helper springs they don't start to work until the truck squats. I have airbags and I love them. Thats just my :2cents

Add a leaf cost $80 per pair and the ride gets rough fast. With air bags vary the air from 10 to 140 # depending on the load. You can add a level valve from a HD truck and an air compressor and not have to think about it.
