GCWR of 3500 HD 6.5TD crewcab

Anyone know for sure? Mid 90's 6.5TD 3500HD krewkab.

15,000 to the best of my knowledge. I was looking at that one on Ebay and it was 15K.

01 2500 Duramax/ZF6,returned to daily driver590/995
03 3500 Duramax/Ally S/C IV EFI Live {Brothers truck}
04 3500 Duramax/Ally EFI Live,feed truck with 3 bale Hydra-Bed,very sick trans
06 4500 Duramax/Ally 4x4 Monroe,EFI Live,Danville turbo, CM flatbed
11 2500 Duramax/Ally 4x4 H&S tuned and deleted {GF's truck}
13 3500 Duramax/Ally 4x4 stock for a very short time
Some Green Equipment and a heard of Black Angus cows

duke you are not lookin at a boat anchor 6.5 are you? i love the trucks not really in love with the engine

No, not me. Some guy wanted to know what the GCWR was so he could figger out what size trailer he could tow.

I'm with you, I like the truck other than the 6.5TD & tranny.

I'd love to see GM bring that truck back with 4x4 (dana 70 front), 26K GCWR, DMAX/Allison, Dana 110/135 rear & integrated brake controller :Thumbup:

IIRC, the GCWR of my Ram is either 18 or 20k. I wouldn't think the 3500HD would be to far off of that.

I think it's quite a bit higher. We're talking about a 15,000 GVWR truck. Gotta think it's 22-24.

me too, they (gm) would corner the market. alot of guys are not buying the truck because of the frontend even though they admit the drivetrain is very good on the gm

I spoke with a reputable GM truck salesman and he told me all the coffee break room talk at his dealership was that it would be great to bring that truck back with a DMAX/Ally and some beefy rears.

I though the Monroe 4x4 versions were great, just in need of a "real" drivetrain.
