4x4 Launching

hi fellas im new to the 4x4 deal and ive seen and heard about being able to launch during a race with the 4x4 engaged. Would this damage anything with the drivetrain? And what setting would be best for this. Four hi or four low? thanks:shrug:

4-high for drag racing. 4-low for sled pulling. Install tie rod sleeves.--absolute must-do! Braces on the idler and pittman also recommended. Lower torsions down.
