a friend of mine has a 2000 half ton he has noticed while driving in snow that the 4x4 works fine but if he hits dry pavment his front 2 tires tow into one another. why is this? i know the duramaxes have probloms when hooked to a sled. whats the deal?

Have him look at his tie rods. The inners are very small diameter, and they can bend under severe circumstances. Tie rod sleeves pretty much fix this problem.

The people you see at pulls with severe toe in are not taking precautions before pulling....
