Can you look at a 6.6 engine and tell whether its a LB7 or a LLY?

Had to replace the 6.6 DURAMAX on my 2004 Kodiak. After a lot of "blood letting", finally got a 2005 6.6 fitted into it. Now I'm considering getting a Diablo Preditor but need to know what I have. Since the engine has been swapped, the 8th digit in the VIN doesn't tell me what I need to know. Can I look at something on the engine to tell me what I have?

I'm guessing its a LLY but that's just a stab in the dark. :thanks:

2 quick things, the lly's have the garrett variable vane turbo and the injectors are external and can be replaced without taking the valve covers off.

There is also a difference in the resonator mount. The LB7 has a tube running to it. The LLY looks like it sits on top.
