Cloth to Leather swap

Just curious........

Is it possible to convert a cloth interior truck to leather? .....and still retain the factory seat heaters, etc....

Basically I am wondering that once the seats are recovered, can you put in original style seat heaters in there and have them operational? And can you change out the door panels to factory ones, with seat heater controls, to make it look original?

The hardware aspect seems straight forward. But is there a completely different wire harness needed, or what? That would be the more difficult part, and maybe more expensive. Just curious...

Yes, assuming that it has captains. Just curious as to the main floor wire harness connections.

Not sure if GM had several versions of the floor harness, or for cost reasons, if they used a main common harness.
