Throwing out an idea

I have this idea for Common Rail heads for 6.5L and 6.2L. I understand that the 6.2/6.5 are not the greatest motor design, but I would have figured that someone would have tried to make this mod with all the 6.2/6.5's still around.

I think the result would be the return of the Toroflow and 5.7 because they won't handle the fuel flow that most would set them up to.

I was thinking of marine/generator applications where the motor is running a lot, would it not be more efficient to have a common rail head in that instance.

While you are at it chance the timing chain to a balanced gear drive and it may live long enough to pay for the parts in fuel savings. or just start with an engine that will run 25k hours to start with lie a Thermoking.

And a whole list of other changes to make the motor last longer.
I'm no engineer or a fabricator so designing common rail heads is a bit out of my league unfortunately. .
