Kelderman Air Ride Rear 2 bag system info??

Has anyone here put the kelderman rear 2 bag air system in their truck? The one class 4 hitch that has the air bags that replace the rear spring mounts. How does it handle a trailer? Is it really worth the effort to put it on?

The '93 Dodge has it and it maintains the headlight aim and rides well empty. It usually carries a camper ( 2k) and sometimes pulls an equipment trailer ( 900 hitch ). It is 18# empty, 42# with the camper and 66# with the trailer. And a bicycle pump takes a min or so to pump it up if I change some place without air.

Truck and trailer are both well behaved, hitched to gather or with something else, loading other stuff on the trailer than the tractor I either use the spring bars w/cams or load forward for a level arm at the air bag. I think they would work as a scale, the same as air ride on the heavy trucks. Plot the dots for 4-5 weights for a #'s per 1K.

You should get the optional compressor that would save you some time when you can't find air.
