No D-max dually's ?

I went to GMC.com and built myself a nice GMC 3500 DRW pickup truck i noticed it gave you 2x 6.0L Gas engine options but there was no D-max option

Not that i was looking for one i was hopping to get the 8.1L so the 6.6L can't be had in the Reg cab long box dually ?

8.1's have been gone since 06 or 07

13 3500 Duramax/Ally 4x4 stock for a very short time
Some Green Equipment and a heard of Black Angus cows

Demand for a regular cab dually just wasn't there to keep it around. Sorry Mike, you got to either get the Ext or Crew. You can't order a new duramax till april

I got no problems with the 6.0L i'll run it, I just thought odd that there was no D-Max or 8.1 option's . . .

Trust me i don't want another GM-Diesel

Like my brother stated, the Duramax is currently out of production while they gear up for the new LML, of all the new emmisions controlled engines, the duramax is the MOST proven, the 6.7 cummins has had a terrible rash of problems, and the new 6.7 powerstroke has 0 consumer feedback, the LML has been under develeopment for over 2 1/2 years, and is based on a reliable, powerful platform

Id never buy any other engine again, except for the 5.9 CR for obvious reasons

you can hate on the 6.5, but saying you wont get another GM diesel is just getting old, im sorry i bust your chops all the time, but come on man, your comparing an peach to a grapefruit, thats just not fair

I didn't start this to be a pissing match, I was looking for the 8100 and found the only engine options where the 6.0 & 6.0 flex fuel . . . NO 8100 NO 6600 . . .

I don't much care how good or bad it is or isn't . . . I in no place said it was good or bad, i simply said i was looking for an 8100 and found they only offer the 6000, and that i also noticed there was no listing for the 6600 diesel . . .

it was if i wanted the D-max i would have to get ". ...." i simply stated i wasn't after the diesel. . .

The 8100 was discontinued after '05, gm only has the 6.0L gas now. and dodge has discontinued the 8.1 V10 in trucks all you can get is the 6.7L Cummins. Only ford has a "big block" gas in trucks with the 6.8L Triton V10. Dodge and ford have regular cab dually trucks
