2002 Trail Blazer Brakes

Die hard Ford man here but my daughters father in law is in ill health

I'm going to do his trailblazers brakes and was just wondering if there is anything special ( hints/tricks) I should know about before hand to replacing them.

I know every brand has it's own idiosyncrasies and thought I would ask before tackling this job. Thanks in advance. John
