Lubrication additives

Since I dont like the idea of paying big $$$ for commercially available stuff, what kind and how much oil can I dump in my fuel? With the ULSD coming out soon, I really dont wanna be changing or paying for a new pump.

Ive heard people running everything from ATF to vegetable oil.

Im thinking ATF or some Rotella because they are cheap. Will the ATF screw me over if my tanks get dipped?

Make some Bio-diesel and put it in your tank a lot cheaper than dino, and it adds great lubrication.just my .02

Here is what I use and a I have good # of other small diesel truck owners run it.

I put in a 1/2 bottle every fill.

For the heavy duty highway diesels, I sell both of these products.

1 16 ounce can does 100gals.

1 16 ounce can does 200gals.

Cheapest would be yellow grease, used veggie oil that you heat up & filter. The older the diesel the more you can run.
