Hey Broker.
Seen that the other day. NBCC has been putting a bunch of time and research into bio in that area. Looks like things are finally happening.
In the Halifax area there is a supplier that is selling a bio product made from fish oil. We ran a genset on it and it made good power. Only problem is if petroleum based fuel has been in use previously the fish oil will clean out all the residuals and cause some filter plugging until it gets cleaned out. It appears that a virgin system would work much better. It has an interesting aroma when burning, kinda smells fishy.
