Wondering how much decrease in fuel mileage many of you are getting by having to use the Low Sulphur Diesel?

ULSD has about 1$ to 1.5% less energy per gallon, but higher base Cetane, so in most cases you will not see a measureable difference.

Now, your question was for "having to use ULSD", and if you have an '07 emissions engine, that is a completely different animal.

With my preditor on 40hp tow , exaust and intake with my foot out of it i can range in the upwards of 18-19 hiway. intown 16-17. With preditor at 65 hp it drops to about 16-17 hiway. intown 14-15. Now i was getting 22-24 origionally but that was stock 245-75 tires and stock exaust but with an afe stage 1 intake. and no programmer When i went to 265-75 tires i lost a lot MPG.

I'm getting about 1.5 mpg LESS consistently!

Will additives improve this?
