Bio book

Thanks for all the great write ups guys. I have learned tons. Does anyone know of a book about Bio that they would recommend(it's history, how to make it, etc)? Thanks in advance.

I got a copy of From the fryer to the fuel tank by Joshua tickell it's a good starter for reading gave me alot of good ideas.
