tcw-3 low ash out board 2 cycle oil(supertech) from wally world works best. It's about 9 bucks a gallon. Put in 1oz. per gallon of fuel and you'll notice the difference in no time. Not to mention your injectors and fuel system will thank you for it. This actually has better lubrication on the fuel system and injectors than powerservice and stanadyne.

strokin6L is correct. The walmart brand or any good TC-W3 rated outboard 2cycle oil works very well period in our 6.0's and others. It really is amazing.

Really-do you need to be exact when it comes to the ratio?

I would try to get the ratio as close as you can when fueling up. A tad less or a tad more really isn't gonna do any harm.

Yes this is outboard 2 cycle oil for boats, so you can put it in your boat also. Supertech is the brand and you can get it al wal-mart.

If you can buy biodiesel in your area it is the best lubricant for the injectors. Ford is OK with up to 5% bio but I've been running 10% with no problems. There was a study posted here some time ago that actually tested the lubricating properties of different additives. If I remember correctly biodiesel and 2 stroke oil additive were the best.

I've been running 2 cycle for about 10 tanks now,...haven't noticed any difference.

I'm not saying it's not helping in some way,..but the truck sounds the same, mileage is the same,...only difference I've noticed so far,...now it costs an extra 9 bux(2 cycle cost) to fill the tank.

If someone says that it is "noticeably quieter",...show me some decibel meter proof....lol.......because mine hasn't changed.
