transformer oil in a 12 valve

Anybody have any experience running used transformer oil as fuel? I service the oil purifier units for several power companies & may be able to get it cheap. I haven't been able to find much info on it, but I've read a couple posts here & there that mention it.

Because of other chemicals and the type of oil it is I would highly suggest against even using this in your fuel. The only oil that is design to burn completely and clean is 2 cycle oil...:

Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts has some interesting reading. Im not bucking what mopar is saying at all. There are other opinions on this particular oil to consider. Im at about the 3k mile mark on 40-50% mix of wmo. The only oil that has been in the truck that wasnt diesel motor oil was about 5qts. of mobil 1 and I think I could tell when it would get a dose of that. I dont know if the specific grav. was different or if it just didnt mix the same but the idle was a little irratic. No other issues .

Is the oil petroleum based??? If so I would say why the hell not. Your dodge 12V and my 7.3L are allot alike since they will run off of almost anything.....
