Jet Fuel?

Does anybody know how jet fuel will run? I heard just add an additive but not 100% sure.

Thanks.

What about half and half with diesel? Anything to add then or is 2 stroke oil ok to run anyhow. I heard 2 stroke oil doesn't have much effect on a Duramax. Anything else I could add to get the power back?

The whole fuel system... Here is a document from Bosch...

If you lubricity is too low it will cause serious damage to pumps and injectors...

Jet fuel is very dry if you add oil to it you will be fine I add about a gallon of oil to 100 gallons of fuel. The USN uses JP5 in all their diesel powered line equipment. I used to use JP5 in my old IHC 4070 it had a 318 in it and it didn't care what it burned

we used to put JP8 into the Hummvee (the old 6.5L) when I was in the Army back in the early 90's.. It's just highly refined diesel (Kerosine).

JP8

They still use JP8 in all military vehicles. Hummers, UH-60's we put it in everything. Just change out your fuel filters after the first couple of tanks. It will clean everything out and clog your injectors.

I used to put a lot of miles on vehicles in the military running JP8. It burns really hot and you dont get as much power, we could always tell when we got actual diesel over JP8. Our mechanics recommended puring a quart of tranny fluid every other tank or so to keep the fuel pump lubbed and to keep the injectors from burning up.
