How big of a drop hitch do you use?

I'm curious how much of a drop hitch everyone is running on their lifted trucks. I have an adjustable drop hitch that's adjustable up to 8". It worked good on my 5.5" of lift with 35's, but I have recently gone up to 8" with 37's.

Just curious how much of a drop people are running on similar sized trucks. I'm thinking about ordering the same Diversi-Tech hitch, but getting the one adjustable up to 10". I haven't pulled anything since I put the new lift on so haven't got to try it yet. I pull several different trailers so a adjustable hitch is a must.

Also curios if there is some way to measure to determine a recommended hitch height.

a guy down the road has a 06 dodge i think that is lifted 10" i think on 38s or 40s. he has like a 2 foot drop hitch with stabilizing bars that go from the bottom of the hitch up to the frame. he pulls he 30foot boat all over the place with no problems

You must be talking about a One Up Offroad style drop hitch:

I want to install a trailer hitch on my 07 Pacifica. Reading on the manufacturer's website, it states that the exhaust system will have to be lowered to do this. Has anybody added a hitch DIY? Also what about wiring? I was quoted around $230 for just the hitch and about $120 more for wiring. Sounds way high to me.

Thanks

i have found one online, they are pretty cheap (14.99) and make them front and rear but i emailed them asking what years they fit. since the site did not say, they said 98-07 then they updated the site to say that the next day. while was at work i noticed the work crew truck which is 2001 had a smaller logo on the grill i measured them both and mine was 1 inch smaller.
my f-250 is tagged as a 07 (built may 2006) i believe the blue oval is 8,3/4" (it has been some time since i measured it.) needless to say i emailed the company and they have not returned a email about the two sized in ovals.

let me know if you find a logo else where. thanks
