94 wilson Pace Setter

I just got done looking at a 94 wilson pace setter grain trailer. When I would eye ball down the aluminum frame on the outside, I could see two waves on both sides. One wave was right infront of the axles and the other right above the dollies. Has anyone ever seen this before?

Yep. Normal. Electrolysis at work. The corrosion that is caused by the 2 dissimilar metals (steel and aluminum) is literally pushing the trailer apart. Road salt only makes it worse.

Seen cases so bad, that the big rivets in that area where breaking out as well. NOT good! That was on an '88 Timpte.

Make sure to look the rear subframes over very well. Notorious from breaking apart due to rust.

Was the trailer loaded or empty?
