I have seen a few people around here with them, but what is the weight of that boat? over 5Klbs I am guessing... Then most times you will need a WD hitch to be legal. they make large enough WD drops for your situation. my bud has a 10-15" WD drop for his truck and you dont need all the extra brackets modified to your truck (all the modified parts are on the trailer). If you are over 5000LBS and someone else hits you(there fault), YOU could be found at fault for the accident for not having a properly equiped truck for towing your load.
Good luck

I have been loking around and it looks like with that set up you can still hook up a WD hitch to the 1 up offroad reciver. So its your money.
Good Luck
