Need Help With Adding Air Trailer Brake Hookup to Ford F650

The Ford F650 has air brakes but no air brake hookup at the rear for a trailer.

We bought a 15 ton pintle hitch trailer with air brakes to move a small piece of equipment.

How complicated is it to plumb the truck for air brakes for the trailer? Can anyone provide an easy to understand diagram or description of what we need to do to this F650? I'm looking for a relatively simple method of doing this.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Have you tried the search feature on this forum? I remember reading threads in the past about the basics of doing this work. Generally you will need to look at your system and see if it was prepped or not for trailer brakes. If the valves are in place, it will be a pretty easy job of just running lines. If the truck was not prepped, you will have to add additional or replace valves.

The truck does not appear to have any prep for trailer brakes. The dash only has the one valve (yellow) too.

It might help if one could find a diagram for the existing factory air system; then one could more easily plan for the required changes.
