Question on wiring brake controller

On my 97 F250 Diesel.... It only has the factory 4 way plug. Now, will it still have the wires ran for the electric brake to the rear and capped off somewhere or will I have to run a wire to the rear?

Thanks

Jason

If it has the factory tow package, they "should" be there, tucked up by the frame in their own loom (as I remember, it's been a while). I've only seen one case where it had the plug in the cab, and all the extras by the fuse box, but no rear wiring harness - that was on a Canada-Spec chassis cab, so I was assuming it was just weird. SOME DIDN'T HAVE factory trailer towing (how dumb is that??) - my folks had one, we had to string wires. I used 10-3 bulk dropcord cable - worked nicely.

? does it have a factory brake box in the yes your wires should be there but if an after market brake box and your truck dosent have the direct plug in wire for the box then your going to have to run one

try this site http://www.etrailer.com/faq_fbc.aspx
