Sidewinder hitch?

Anybody using or have experience with the Sidewinder or Airborn Sidewinder 5th wheel hitch? Did you like them or not and why?

Currently using a 16k manual slider towing my 36' RV with my shortbed QC. The Pullrite is well built but is heavy (and costs $$), adding to the total pin weight and also makes it a 2 person job to take the hitch in and out of bed.

Thanks in advance for any inputs.

My neighbor had one when he had is 6.7 and had a very hard time getting his KZ toyhauler level. He also said it felt like it had sway in it. He took it off and sold it when he got rid of the cummins. I would look at pull rites auto slider, superglide. Some hitch makers such as B and W say not to use it will the companion and curt says not to use it with the Q5 . This is prolly not what you want to hear but is my experience.

Thanks for the reply. I am not worried about leveling as I have plenty of height adjustment. The sway part is one of my biggest concerns. With the pivot point moved 22 inches back I wondered if it would lead to the "tail wagging the dog" like a bumper pull. Right now being a 36' trailer it is very stable to pull with no sway problems.

From what my neighbor said with his, is that it wanted to do the whole tail wagging thing if you where not paying attn. He also said that it was more like backing a bumper pull than a fifth wheel. Another note, they are heavy and add a good amount of tongue wight. (his had the build in air bag) I guess if you have the adjustment (your camper prolly sits higher than his KZ) the height would not be an issue.
