Which Nozzles?

Hey guys, I'm currently building a 3406c mechanical with 1260736 steel two piece pistons and was wondering if anyone would know the best nozzles to run for more power. Also is running a 7fb pump better than a 3zj one in this build.... All help is greatly appreiciated.

I was going to say OR-8785...but the B pump won't push these. Well, It will, but after a short time, it will start putting fuel in the oil. It will wear the plungers trying to compensate for the higher PSI.

2005 250 Super Duty Crew. White and Grey. ARP studs, EGR Delete, and SCT from Vivian. CCV re-route, and 4" Magnaflow turbo back.

Other trucks:1980 KW Ext hood, 1982 Kenworth Cabover Aerodyne (BJ and the Bear) 2000 and 2003 Kenworth W900's. 2003 Pete EXHD. All Caterpillar Power. My 2003 has an MBN I converted to 6NZ. Early 550 file, 211-3025 squirts. 800 cam. Acert twins via custom mount. ARP head bolts.

Thanks SledMan, but if i use the 3zj pump those injectors would be alright, won't they?

As long as the pump is cast with 7E-5888 on the side, it will push the OR-8785's.....you are correct.

Curious as to why you went with the 2 piece pistons, are you shooting for over 800hp.

3406 nozzles

OR-8785 with 7e-5888 pump and OR-3421's with 7w-3906 injector pump is the best nozzles to go with. as far as which pump is better i suppose that is personal preference, the 7w-3906 "7fb" pump has more fuel less pressure and the 7e-5888 dual scroll 3ZJ pump has more pressure less fuel delivery
