Yes John they "should". But I have searched a few places that will not mess with it. I have been unsuccessful in trying to reach Tony, and can not find any other place that has the knowledge to meter time a Cat. If any one knows of a place, post it. Of course, the closer the better. I'm in SW Oklahoma.
meter timing is using a cat timing tool (basically a designed for that system timing light/ readout) to check the dynamic baseline and advance curve of a mechanical injection engine.
Probably too far away but, Peterson CAT in Portland, OR can meter time a CAT. They meter timed mine after rebuilding the advance and putting it on the dyno. They have quite a few shops on the west coast and probably some of their other facilities can do it also.
Thanks oldnotslow, at least there is a start. I dont run that way though. I dont mind traveling, but i would like to find a place in the midwest. I generally run TX, LA, AR, OK, KS, MO, IA, NE, CO, etc.
