3406b sounds like a helicopter

Hey everyone, I have a cat 3406b in a 1990 pete that has 6" inch straits and a small muffler underneath and when coming a hard pull it makes this helicopter type choppy sound out the exhaust and then as the pyro temps go up the sound goes away, while its making this sound boost is around [email protected] and then as the pyro levels out around 925 deg. The sound fades and the gets to around [email protected] rpm any ideas I'm thinking nozzles since I have felt a slight miss in other situations as well

I thought my C sounded like a helicopter when it was still new and stock, except 5" straights. Maybe 1200 Rs on a good pull. Nothing wrong with it.

Ditto.

Also had barrel and plunger issues make it sound like it was hitting harder on one or two holes vs the rest (which they may have been?)
