Pro Opinions Wanted! FL70 Yes or NO
Little bit about me...spent the last year driving a hauler for the US ARMY Top Fuel Race Team. Since then I decided to go the owner/operator route doing hotshot loads etc. I have had my eye on a 99' FL70 8.3 Cummins for the past few weeks with 220k miles on it with a 6 speed tranny. Everything seems to be in good condition, but I was wondering the experts opinions on this make and model as well as the hauling capacity vs a 3/4 ton. in your opinion would it be worth going with the medium size rig?
As for load type we are looking at cars, travel trailers, etc; would you have any other possible suggestions?
Any and all pros and cons would be valued as we are looking to get in the transportation industry.
