Re-power IH 1999 466E for CARB
Just received an email from CA Air Resources Board ( CARB) notifying me my truck has to be off the road, at least in California, by Jan 2019. Guess they lost a lawsuit and I no longer will enjoy my low-use exemption. Anyone have suggestions, experiences on re-powering this truck and is it worth it? Saw a company that makes wiring harness adapters. Was thinking of a Maxx Force DT, as new as I can get. No clue as to if it will bolt into the frame and realize there will be quite a lot of adaptions. Is it doable?
