Replaced batteries on Freightliner m2 now have code

New to the Diesel world, need some help. I recently bought a 2005 Freightliner M2 106 with a c7, Auto Trans, 52,000 miles on it. I had a charging problem (low volts) replaced the Alt but had same issue. Friend let me use a Snapon battery, starter, Alt tester. Bad battery. I replaced both batteries, The starter, Alt, and batteries all tested good, however it has a code on the dash readout. the code is bh 164, when I depress the odometer select switch (not sure what else to call it) it reads Diag then under that the number 1. Press the switch again it reads Code then under that flashes 6642. Called Cat they said that wasn't their code. New to all this so trying to provide as much info as possible.
Thanks for the help.

No codes before this, no check engine light. Starts idles smooth and increased RPM to 2000 for the tests no issues.
