C15 MXS Cat Engine Front Cover Crack

Wondering if anyone has ever seen a C15 front gear cover crack right below the cam gear cover? I replaced one a year and a half ago, and it just cracked again. Engine doesn't seem to have excessive vibration and everything seemed to line up fine when it was replaced.

I'm not sure what would cause two housings to crack in the same place like that. I haven't seen it happen before. Things that come to mind would maybe be an alignment problem with the front cover dowel pins? Are the motor mounts all good and tight? Too much flex in the frame? Is the steel plate behind the front cover bent? If you find out please let us know.
