2010 Maxforce

Saw pics of this engine today Me thinks theres less parts on the space shuttle.
Anyone else seen it yet???The engine block is not easly visable!

is that the one Navistar has selinods controling all the valves and injectors, no cam shaft any where, their new big block which is Cats c15 rehashed again looks intresting trash caned the air to air for engine mounted after coolers and kept twin turbo's I assume its going to use Navistar's fuel system and requires a texas sized radiator to keep it all cool

It's getting to the point where you're going to need a PhD in mechanical engineering and fluid dynamics to work on these damn things.

I looked into getting back into wrenching recently, and discovered the pay is the same as it was 20yrs ago, and I thought it was low then

The pictures do it no justice till you it in a truck It IS a bores nest you can't even see the valve cover.

The maxx 11/13 is going to have some minor changes for 2010 that will clean up it's appearence. The maxx 15 is the CAT block and cyl head but that about it, everything from fuel, intake, and exhaust wll be Intl. The 11/13 is not as bad as it looks to work on, the cac coolers can be moved without draining coolant and the valve cover removed in about 30-35mins.
