DT360 into 1991 F350

Just a teaser. My IDI runs so well I don't have the heart to pull it yet. Just acquired 2 DTA360 engines, a 1991 185HP and 1992 190HP. The plan is to get the adaptor plate to bolt it to my ZF5 and just tweak the pump a little.

Picking them up:

Also grabbed a 1956 IH S-120, towed the whole load 10 hours back to PA with the ol' IDI. did flawless towing about 18K lbs.

Unloaded

Both fired right up with NO effort!

No, the factory 265 runs great. Keeping that all original. Just the 350 will get one and the other will be a spare. Maybe I'll put a stock one in then hot rod the other and swap down the road..... So many ideas, so little time and money!

Must have been a good workout for it. How did it feel? Any hills during the trip?

It's all hills. Haha. Doing great. Definitely could use more turbo. Just sent a billet HE351 wheel to a friend, making a custom hybrid turbo for me. Can't wait to swap.

Had a good weekend at the Bloomsburg jamboree. Hauled down my friend's F500 to use for a pool. Was a blast. Ran the ford on the dyno. Don't think it was a loaded dyno. Hp was where I thought, torque was way low. 231/332.

...waiting for the video to upload.

Then Sunday I hauled a 12,000 pound machine, no sweat!
