Nice work on your truck. While the shiny stuff is impressive, I'm even more impressed by some of your choices for the drive train. Is the 6l perkins the similar to the old standby 354 cu.in. that was used in tractors and combines. Alot of swaps were done with the 354 but with nowhere near the power potential that you have. How did you set up the twin turbos? Can you describe your air suspension in more detail? Thanks

Thanks for the conversion area. My current project is installing a Deutz BF6M2013C (6 cyl, 4 valve, turbo, 180 HP) into an 1985 F350 crew cab.

Hi Folks - This forum is just what I'm looking for! Just the other day my pal Irving asked me to see what I could find about obtaining a small (Dakota, Ranger, Colorado, stc.) diesel powered pickup for him. I told him that none were currently offered in the USA and that he would have to make his own. Not being a mechanical sort he wants to have someone do the job for him. It seemed to me that there would be such beasts already out there ready for sale! Thus this message. Anyone with such an item in the Northeast is welcome to reply to this post with info and contact information.
Regards from Maine - Mark Lane

could you post a sticky as to general swap needs. like need to swap out tanks, or can they be cleaned, fuel lines, vacuum pumps and brake boosters. just all the other things that you dont think about because youre so excited about the swap. i know this would definetely help me for my 454 for a cummins swap.

I've actually been thinking of putting together an article like that. I just haven't had much time lately with doing single parent of 3 duties.
