Anyone out there swapped a 12v into a 48-50 ford pickup?

Hi,
I'm thinking a 1st gen 12v with a Getrag 360 5 speed 2wd into a '49 ford F-3 dually. Found the truck local and cheap, and have always had visions of a cummins powered early Ford pickup. Anyone done it, havea link to any pics of one?? Looking for info or advice.

Thanks,
Jason

I saw over on 4BTswaps that someone is putting in a Cummins A in an old timer. He said it's the same size as a stock inline 6 of the day. Having owned a 48 F1 before, I'd be double checking length & height. A few years back I also saw a Triton V10 in a 49 F1, so it's possible. I really dig them big fenders!

Sounds good, the one I'm looking at has a straight six as well. From some of the reading I have done, it sounds like the cummins isn't any heavier then the flathead was. Apparently they are a pretty hefty chunk of steel.
