8.3 ISC in a 68 GMC C2500 Will it fit?

I was thinking of some diesel engine ideas for my jimmy such as a 4-53 Detroit diesel or a 12 valve cummins. But i was also looking at the 8.3 ISC cummins. The reason for is that i wanted something a little different, something more like a "semi truck" sound due to the displacement. I also looked but i guess you can get real jake brakes for these, not exhaust brakes, jake brakes. Will this fit in my 2wd jimmy pickup? Or will i have to do some modifying?

That 8.3 is very heavy, its 1,975lbs while the 12v cummins is only roughly 1,100lbs. Your Jimmy's suspension would not be strong enough to hold that much engine.

the 12V-5.9L-CTD sound and looks just like a mini KT-Cummins, which is an 1150 Cubic Inline 6 turbo diesel. . . available in 450hp 525hp n 600hp factory tunes . . .

the 12Valve 5.9L commercial engine:
190hp n 520tq 210hp n 600tq 230hp n 660tq

way better then the pick up truck power settings tho even the first gen 12v-5.9L at its weakest tune was 160hp n 400tq and can be turned into the 230hp n 660tq engine, why not just there and go up
