671 / 6v71

Hey guys new to the site. I've been thinking for awhile about doing a 671 or 6V71 swap into a mid 90's 3500HD. I have a few questions about it, what trans should be used and also what would be needed to convert it to 4WD?
Opinions about this are welcome and appreciated

a gear swap in the rear axle and a Dana70 steer axle . . . the Factory never did a 4WD HD but had another company contracted to do the 4x4's they where geared with 4.56's -5.13's.

The 6-71 prolly won't fit the truck but the 6V71 should fit tho very tightly . . .

I would say physical dimensions is going to kill this idea. 6-71T; 285 HP, 2240LB, 56"L X 32"W x 50"H. 6V-71T; 277HP, 2080LB, 41"H X 40"W X 51"H.
