Who has the best fuel, in Alberta,Canada?

Happy New Year everyone.
I was wondering if anyone has done some research on who's Diesel fuel works best. I live in Alberta Canada and usually run Co-op fuel, but my son in law suggested using the Shell V-Power Diesel. He runs it in his 08 F-350 6.4 and has noticed that he is getting better economy out of it. I always use a fuel conditioner and would like to know if there is one fuel provider that is better than another. I realize it depends which upgrader the fuel comes from and this will influence the results depending where you live.
Part 2 of my question is, is there one fuel conditioner that is recognized as a true performer?

Good day mate,

I am from Calgary AB, and always have used Petro Canada for diesel.
They have constant trafic and allways keeping it filled up.
What I am trying to say, try to find heavy used truck stop, which has high volume of diesel users, and hopefully better servised diesel it self.
My fuel conditioner is doing wonders for economy as well, (MasterCraft one from Ford dealer)
Which one are you using?

Hope this helps.

It's hit or miss from station to station and even between the same station chain, you just got to shop around between the stations around you to see who's got the best for the cheapest

I go to Esso, so far so good, plus diesel is hard to find in different parts of Edmonton. Southside very rare, north and westends good to go!

If im low on fuel, and i see it Flying J shell stations are great priced and really good fuels

As for conditioner, there have been numerous studies done on this and aside from running 5%bio-fuel the best thing to put in your tank beside #2 diesel is Opti-lube XPD http://www.opti-lube.com/ you have to order it from the web-site but it gives you the best lubricity for you fuel

I use to run Petro Canada a buddy said he got much better mileage in his 7.3 with Shell, I tried it and it is a lot better.
Every company adds ethanol to there fuel and no additive is ever added to mine. I do change my filter early usually when the computer says 50% life left. If I had the time and money I would add a 233 Davco filter system.
Just a thought!

Look at the pump, there is a decal that states that, they use it as a cetain booster.
